There are
six Chelsea novels. Chelsea is kicked out of her home at seventeen.
She lives with a Pastor and his wife and things happen to her that changes
her life. She goes to college in an all-male law school, she graduates
at the top of her class and enters industry as a staff lawyer, wins
cases then becomes the CEO of the industry. Her past haunts her to confess
past transgressions to heir husband. A former lover presumed dead is
found alive and Chelsea is again tossed into an emotional situation.
Her life settles down and she is asked to run for the governor of Pennsylvania.
Her Black American friend from law school is chosen as her running mate.
He becomes ill and needs a kidney transplant. Chelsea's tissue is a
match, but should she give up the governorship to save a friends life?
Later her daughter is raped and murdered by two Colombian students.
A black runaway teenager from Savannah, Georgia is with her daughter
when she dies. Chelsea feels God may have given her this little girl
and she feels commanded to adopt her. She also pressures the President
to help find the killers of her daughter. Her efforts with the President
fail. Later she accidentally discovers the Drug Lord after an accident
on highway 1-65 in southern Alabama. A cat and mouse game begins and
Chelsea intends to make the Drug Lord's son pay for the murder of her
daughter. The story ends in Foley, Alabama where Chelsea and her friends
meet the Drug Lord. Does she avenge her daughter? More mystery! After
a settling period Chelsea is drawn back into politics in the Challenge,
Chelsea versus Hilary and this time she finds herself running for the
Senate seat from New York against the First Lady Hilary Camery-Denton.
The two candidates spare throughout the State of New York and one emerges
as a clear winner. The differences in political philosophies provides
the voter with a clear choice of candidates. Exciting mystery!
